Unlocking Everyday Joy: Transforming Daily Routines into Pleasurable Rituals, Day 7

Elizabeth Angelica Season 1 Episode 8

Send us a text

What if a simple change in your daily routine could unlock a world of pleasure and creativity? On Day 7 of our 28-day Orgasmic Alchemical journey, I found myself facing unexpected hurdles while crafting an audio guide for our transformative program. Amidst a bustling schedule, even the simplest pleasures turned into moments of bliss, reminding me of the importance of nurturing our environments. A new detachable shower head transformed a quick rinse into a delightful self-love ritual, sparking a deeper understanding of receptivity and desire. Join me as I settle into my tiny house, making incremental upgrades that turn ordinary spaces into sanctuaries of joy.

From the cozy embrace of a pop-up Japanese-style bathtub to the anticipation of a toaster oven that fulfills my baking dreams, this episode is all about appreciating the little things. My adventures in unconventional living arrangements have taught me the art of adaptation, especially when it comes to enjoying zucchini cake with butter and maple syrup frosting. Through these experiences, I invite you to reflect on how simple adjustments in our homes and routines can elevate everyday moments, turning them into opportunities for relaxation and joy, even when life gets demanding.

Speaker 1:

hello again. It's day 7 of 28. Wow, that's some good progress, okay, yeah. So welcome back to what are we doing here? Uh, erotic evolution 28 day orgasmic reset to soften and open and manifest and heal and clear and alchemize with pleasure.

Speaker 1:

So today was such a tired day, um, and I worked and worked and worked on making the audio guide for you to follow along with this program. Finally and sometimes things are way harder than you expect them to be, and that just took so much more time so my pleasure practice turned out to be a quickie in the shower, which was it's been such a long time, um, I moved into this place a few months ago and yesterday I had one of my sort of commune community mates um change the shower head for me so that I have a detachable shower head. So I got to make love to my shower today. It's so delicious in me any energy of being willing to receive that which I desire like receptive, receptive, receptive feeling, the having in my belly, feeling it within my body and yeah, so continual upgrades. I've been living here um renewal upgrades. I've been living here, um, without a detachable shower head, which is like, how do people survive like that? It's I don't. I don't know how people survive with just a shower either, and that's what I've been doing, um, and so I've. I'm making my little, my little upgrades step-by-step, cause I don't actually want to move into a new place until I'm moving in with my beloved, because I moved like five times this year already, so a little while being settled in the same place, even if it is a tiny house without appropriate accommodations for my massive wardrobe. I'm gonna stay for a little while, for a few more months.

Speaker 1:

But I bought myself this pop-up Japanese style bathtub that fits in the shower stall and now I have the detachable shower head so that I can get the water in there, and it'll be nice and hot because it's not cooling down on the whole way down into it. And it's gonna be interesting because I actually have to figure out how I'm gonna drain this thing. I have bought a, I bought a hose and I'm going to try to siphon it out out the window or into a sink. Um, because the shower drain is right in the middle and all the water is too much to um, to let any water underneath, cause it's like it's just this sort of saggy plastic. Uh, tub. Um, really comfortable, used it once was so gloriously happy that I was in a bathtub in my own house because recently I do have one in the backyard but I wanted to be in my own tub in my own house.

Speaker 1:

And then I fell asleep. And here's the train. I live about 15 feet from the freight train, but I'm going to keep talking anyway. I think it's a short one, yeah, so I was happily in the tub and I fell asleep, I was so comfortable. And then I woke up. And I was happily in the tub and I fell asleep, I was so comfortable. And then I woke up and I was like, oh fuck, how am I going to drain this? And so I had to, like scoop water out, and it took forever. It was the longest bathing experience of my life, but not because I was joyfully in the tub the whole time and my next upgrade is a toaster oven of my life and not because I was joyfully in the tub the whole time.

Speaker 1:

My next upgrade is a toaster oven. Yes, I live in a place without a toaster oven, without an oven, without a bathtub. As a person whose hobbies are baking and bathing Self-sabotage, I don't know, but I have a toaster oven that I can, you know, fit reasonable sized things into on its way. It's gonna take a little longer than I expected, but it's Christmas time and I so look forward to eating lasagna and cake for breakfast Not both for breakfast, but cake for breakfast, because I have, you know, decided long ago that I was the sort of person who always had cake in their house. So I'll be able to do that again. I'll be back to being me and the gloriousness of of cake made with zucchinis and frosting made of butter and maple syrup and and vanilla. Oh, so good, it's so good. You should come over and have tea and cake, or espresso and cake, because I am I'm a coffee fiend, but you don't have to be. Um, okay, yeah, so I'm keeping it short. That is my update for day seven.

Speaker 1:
